Ayn Rand—asked Mr. Henry Mark Holzer a rhetorical question: “If we don’t fight for this country, who will?”
His answer to Ayn
Before I answer this rhetorical question I think you will better understand my answer if I first tell you a little something about myself.
Fifty years ago I took an oath. I knew then and still believe that this oath was for the rest of my life, not just until the best book deal comes along or for whatever reasons some people, and ALL politicians, including this current President, break the oaths they have sworn to. That oath was, and still is, to defend the Constitution of the United States from ALL enemies, both foreign AND DOMESTIC! I took this oath on the day I was sworn into the United States Marine Crops fifty years ago, and I still honor this oath today.
And now to the answer that rhetorical question with a non-rhetorical answer: I WILL ALSO! And if necessary, as I swore those fifty years ago, with my life!
